About the role

Australia-Naturally Travel is an Australian inbound tour operator specialising in bespoke wildlife, birding, and nature-focused itineraries for international partners and private clients. We are seeking a full-time Travel Consultant to plan travel, accommodation, and associated arrangements, and to manage bookings and tour logistics across Australia.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate travel, accommodation, and associated arrangements for clients
• Design, cost, and manage bespoke wildlife and nature-based itineraries
• Make and manage bookings for accommodation, transport, guides, tours, and activities
• Liaise with international partners, overseas agents, and private clients
• Negotiate rates and confirm services with suppliers
• Prepare detailed itineraries, tour documentation, and operational notes
• Manage itinerary changes, problem-solving, and client support as required
• Maintain accurate booking and financial records
• Support the development and refinement of wildlife and nature-focused tour programmes

Qualifications and experience

• Demonstrated experience in travel consulting, tour operations, logistics, or a related tourism role
• Strong knowledge of Australian wildlife, habitats, and nature-based destinations
• Sound understanding of Australian travel logistics and suppliers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines
• Experience in specialist or wildlife-focused travel is highly regarded.
