About the role

At Global Green, our customers are at the heart of everything we do and this role is key to ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional value and service. We’re looking for a driven Sales Account Manager.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of customers, acting as their primary point of contact to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions and ensure a seamless experience from order through to delivery.  You’ll collaborate closely with our operations and finance teams to drive customer satisfaction to achieve sales targets.

 Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Identify, pursue and convert new business opportunities to expand Global Green’s customer base and product range.
  • Operational management of your customer base through calls, site visits and administration of customer orders and sales enquiries.
  • Manage and grow the distribution network to maximise market reach and sales potential.

About you

If you’re a commercially minded sales professional who is passionate about natural resource management then this is the role for you.  You need a passion for building relationships and driving growth with a proactive approach and enjoy working in a dedicated team.  You will need a proven background in sales preferably within the Natural Resources or horticultural industries.

  • Commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven success identifying and converting new business opportunities.
  • Confidence to work autonomously and manage your own customer base
  • Ability to analyse market insights and industry trends to inform sales strategy and planning.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and resilience.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (ideally Netsuite) and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Driver’s license
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
