This role is centred on supervising & leading a team of rangers at the Roma Remote Work Unit, ensuring the effective delivery of operational services.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Displays a keen interest in conservation and land management.
• Participates in prescribed burning, fuel reduction and bushfires.
• Ability to lead and manage a team to deliver work plans, initiatives and outcomes.
• Leads the development of annual work programs for maintenance of roads and firebreaks.
• Establishes and maintains productive relationships with stakeholders including neighbouring landholders, other government departments, industry groups, recreational user groups and traditional owners.
• Exhibits strong organisational skills and the capacity to handle multiple tasks with precision.
• Ability to support and share skills with a diverse group of people.
