We're seeking a motivated Ranger to support vegetation restoration in the Atherton Tablelands. You’ll play a hands-on role in restoring native ecosystems through propagation, planting, nursery care, and working with local volunteers from TREAT (Trees for the Evelyn and Atherton Tablelands). 

Key duties include: 

• Growing and planting native vegetation.
• Site prep and restoration maintenance.
• Assisting with nursery operations and infrastructure.
• Collecting field data and contributing to work plans.
• Collaborating with volunteers and the local community.

You’ll be part of important environmental projects across QPWS&P-managed estates. This role also includes working in rugged, remote areas and occasionally supporting parks throughout the Northern Region. 

Rangers may work across: 

• Pest, Fire, Estate & Visitor Management, Assets & Safety.

This role suits someone physically fit, adaptable and eager to grow in a dynamic outdoor setting. Experience in nursery work is valued, but training will be provided.
