Searching for a mid level ecologist with approximate 5+ years consulting experience to be based from our Gold Coast or Brisbane office.

Essential skills/competencies:

• A Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science/Zoology/Botany or similar
• Working knowledge of relevant State and Commonwealth environmental legislation
• QGIS competencies
• Field work experience in SEQ - capable of independently planning and undertaking field work for ecological/environmental assessments
• Report writing - capable of starting and executing standard ecological/environmental reporting for OPW/DA assessment, monitoring and management plans
• Current drivers' licence
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and understand broader project objectives with respect to urban and infrastructure delivery

Optional but desirable:

• Project management (smaller projects)
• Fee proposal/tender response preparation
• Ability to build and nurture internal and external relationships
