The One Basin Cooperative Research Centre (One Basin CRC) is offering generous funding support for several new PhD projects.

As a part of the One Basin CRC PhD program, you will be working with some of our 88 partner organisations from across the Murray-Darling Basin and contributing to our vision of a sustainable, resilient and productive basin. You will be supervised by Australia's top researchers from one of our 7 university partners and will work closely with industry and government partners including the opportunity for a 6-month industry internship.

What we’re looking for:

We want curious, motivated candidates from agriculture, environmental science, engineering, social sciences, or related fields, who are interested in living and working in one of our regional research hubs and being part of a growing cohort of early career researchers. We also provide scholarships for First Nations honours students.

Each candidate will be based for the majority of their time in one of the following research hubs: Loxton (South Australia), Mildura (Victoria), Griffith (NSW) and Goondiwindi (Queensland) with associated node in Narrabri (NSW) in order to facilitate place-based research and interactions with industry partners.
