This is a 12-month fixed-term, full-time position (with the possibility of extension or permanency).
Forest Management Branch plays a vital role in protecting the health of our native forests. We lead the way in forest health modelling, strategic forest enhancement activities to combat climate change, and planning that ensures the long-term resilience and vitality of these ecosystems. Forest Management Branch has four main programs: Forest Assessment and Monitoring, Systems and Decision Support, Forest Operations Planning and Disturbance Approval System (DAS).
We currently have an opportunity for a Project Officer (Forest Management) to join our team.
In this role, you will undertake and coordinate the acquisition, analysis and maintenance of land and natural resource data or systems to support land and resource management and planning.
