About Low Ecological Services

Low Ecological Services P/L is the longest-running environmental consulting firm in the Northern Territory, founded in 1980 by Dr. Bill Low and based in Alice Springs. With over 1,500 major projects delivered, we provide expert environmental assessment, monitoring, and management services across Central Australia, the Top End, and parts of WA and Queensland.

Our team brings deep knowledge of the region’s unique ecology, landscapes, and environmental challenges. We work closely with government, industry, and Aboriginal communities, incorporating traditional ecological knowledge into our science-based approach.

Our services range from flora and fauna surveys, environmental impact assessments (EIAs), remediation planning, pest and weed management, and long-term monitoring programs. With a strong history supporting mining, petroleum, and infrastructure projects. We pride ourselves on balancing conservation values with practical, regulatory, and commercial outcomes, whilst delivering independent, high-quality assessments which minimise environmental impact.

At Low Ecological Services, you’ll be part of a supportive, inclusive team, contributing to a diverse range of natural and industrial projects in some of Australia’s most unique environments.
