Barung Landcare is currently recruiting Bush Regenerators to undertake work in the Sunshine Coast region. We’re seeking passionate and motivated individuals to join our team and undertake a range of bush regen tasks including hand and mechanical weed maintenance and herbicide application. Details of the positions:

• Multiple available
• 2 to 3 days per week
• Casual basis
• Through to the end of June 2025

Mandatory Experience / Qualifications:

• Certificate I (or higher) in Conservation and Ecosystem Management (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 1 year field experience in bush regeneration
• Valid Commercial Operator’s Licence (ACDC – ground application of herbicide) under the Agricultural and Chemical Distribution Control Act 1966
• Construction Safety White Card
• Proficiency in SE QLD native and weed species identification and management
• Passion for working outdoors and restoring natural ecosystems
• Current driver’s licence and own transport

Desirable:

• First Aid Certificate
• Chainsaw Certificate - Level 1

• Certificate I (or higher) in Horticulture (or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years of landscaping experience
• An interest in transitioning into bush regeneration work
