Looking for a permanent job as a pest management ranger?  

As OO4 Ranger Pest Management, you will plan and deliver weed and feral animal control projects, participate in stakeholder meetings, liaise with park neighbours, Traditional Owners, NRM groups and other interested parties. You will also provide technical support to Central Region staff.  

Travel is a regular part of the role. The position usually undertakes field work on parks and forests across the central belt of Queensland. Central Region is very large and diverse - you may work in true desert and remote locations to coastal and urban environments.  

To join our team, you will need a positive attitude and the ability to work as a member of a team - and occasionally alone. You must hold a manual driver's licence. Certification to use agricultural chemicals and poisons and possession of a Queensland weapons licence will be highly regarded. 

Negotiable in Central Region - Mackay, Townsville or Rockhampton preferred.
