Alice Springs Desert Park
Alice Springs Desert Park is a unique conservation and education facility showcasing the native flora and fauna of Central Australia. Spanning 1,300 hectares, the park features carefully maintained desert habitats - Desert Rivers, Sand Country, and Woodland - that highlight the diversity and resilience of arid zone plant species. Horticulture plays a vital role in maintaining and restoring these landscapes, with a strong focus on the propagation, care and presentation of native desert plants. The park also supports conservation programs and research projects involving rare and threatened plant species.
The Role
As the Senior Horticulturist, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance and high-quality presentation of the landscapes and scientific plant collections at the Alice Springs Desert Park.
