The Regional and Fire Management Services Division's Operational Training Unit (OTU) designs, delivers and records operational training to meet the needs of the agency with a strong focus on regional delivery. The OTU also maintains the department’s capacity to offer nationally recognised training, eLearning solutions and accurate training records.

We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Marine Trainer to join our team.

Under the limited direction of the Marine Training Coordinator, you will:

  • Coordinate and facilitate the departmental large whale disentanglement (LWD) program and training to divisional districts and regions, Rottnest Island Authority and Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) as required.
  • Ensure compliance with LWD policies, procedures and guidelines.
