Title: Weed Manager and Bush Regenerator Team Superviser (part time).

Location: Canberra, Bungendore, Braidwood, Yass and Surrounding areas.

About Us: Environmental and Agricultural Services Pty Ltd (EnviroAg Services) are leaders in conservation and land management. We have been in operation for more than 18 years. We specialize in weed management and bush regeneration. We are committed to environmental conservation and best practice in vegetation management. We work for a wide range of clients with a diverse range of work.

About You: We are looking for a long term, reliable and dedicated staff member who has a strong interest in environmental management and conservation. Full training is provided and it's more important to us that you are the right person for the team than being fully qualified. We are looking for a part time (2-4 days a week) person with some flexibility to work additional hours as required. Full time may be considered in the future.

You must:

• Be looking for a long term role.
• Enjoy working outdoors in all kinds of weather.
• Be physically fit as the role requires manual work - it can be tough going but it is rewarding.
• Have a good standard of English as reading and writing are essential parts of the role.
• Be able to work as part of a team.
• Follow directions, read maps and have the ability to manage a small team.
• Be reasonably computer literate (email and office).
• Ability to work in a safe and responsible manner.
• Have the right to work permanently in Australia.

Essential Qualifications:

• AQF3 Chemical Accreditation.
• Current Driver's Licence (Manual preferred).

Qualifications and experience we'd like to see but none are essential:

• Be familiar with the local area.
• White Card.
• Chainsaw Accreditation.
• NSW Ground Operators Licence.
• Qualification in Environmental Management/Conservation/Bush Regeneration.
• Bobcat Ticket.
• Traffic Control ticket.
• Truck (MR or above).
• Experience in plant species identification.

This position is initially casual then transitioning to permanent provided you are the right person.
