The Kimberley Region is a remote and complex landscape which is renowned for its natural beauty and cultural significance. The region offers many unique opportunities to explore and enjoy world class natural and cultural attractions as well as appreciate the wilderness values of the area.

We currently have an opportunity for an Operations Manager to join our team in the East Kimberley District.

Under minimal direction from the District Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading, coordinating and implementing works programs in the East Kimberley District across all work centres and national parks, determining standards and ensuring all activities are compatible with departmental and service objectives and management responsibilities.
  • Leading and managing staff and ensuring a close liaison and working relationship occurs across the district and between regional staff and specialist branches, to provide for an integrated and effective delivery of services.
  • Internal and external liaison with any existing and future joint management partners, stakeholders and community groups regarding district service programs and delivery of joint management commitments.
