This role’s focus area is leading a team of rangers responsible for the day-to-day management of parks and forests within the Carnarvon Gorge Work Unit. Whilst the successful applicant will be involved in general operational ranger activities, priority will be given to coordinating and overseeing day-to-day management activities and strategic projects. Experience in staff supervision, leadership, natural resource management, visitor management and working in remote locations is highly sought after. This is a physically demanding role with Ranger frequently required to walk long distances in difficult conditions.

Departmental accommodation is provided at Carnarvon Gorge for the successful applicant.
