About the Role

In the Communications and Digital Media Officer position, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining our digital content, focusing on creative aspects, website content maintenance, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Experience in this type of role is essential, but we’ll teach you the details of our specific programs and systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Social Media Coordination: Update and promote the organisation’s social media content.
  • Website maintenance: Ensure content is current and audience is focused.
  • E-News: Collate and publish monthly newsletters. 
  • Event Support: Coordinate publicity and assist in marketing for events under guidance of senior project staff.

Selection Criteria

Technical Skills:  Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration capability.  Experience in social media and website content creation and maintenance.

Business systems: Proficient computer skills with experience in Microsoft 365 and electronic filing systems. 

Community focused: Passion for making a positive impact on environment and local community. 

Self-management: Able to meet deadlines and work autonomously with manager’s guidance. 

To be eligible to apply you must be an Australian citizen or entitled to work in Australia, and you must have a valid Western Australian driver’s license.
