We are looking for a Regional Biosecurity Lead South to join our Biosecurity Queensland team. 

As our Regional Biosecurity Lead South you will be responsible for driving high-level strategic advice & engagement activities for Biosecurity Queensland.  

You will know you’re achieving success in the role when you: 

• Are dedicated to successfully & strategically engaging with local governments, industry and the regional communities to support Biosecurity initiatives. 
• Effectively advocate for Biosecurity Queensland’s interests, provide advice & counsel to the Minister, Director-General and Chief Biosecurity Officer and programs on Biosecurity matters. 
• Are actively contributing & leading a high-performing regionally dispersed team. 
• Manage, lead & champion high-level Biosecurity initiatives throughout the relevant regions. 
• Establish a stronger ongoing regional presence for Biosecurity Queensland through the establishment of regional hubs.
