Are you passionate about protecting and preserving protected areas? Do you like working in amazing and stunning island locations? We are looking for a talented and dedicated park manager to be part of our team of Rangers working alongside the traditional owners of K’gari, the Butchulla People

Our rangers ensure that the Queensland’s national parks, state forests and reserves are protected, accessible and valued by all Queenslanders. We work in partnership with the traditional owners of K’gari, the Butchulla People, local communities and other stakeholders to contribute to the land management, recreational and conservation outcomes across the protected areas. Our work can be challenging - important work usually is, but your contribution will count, and so will you.   • Ability to lead and work as part of a team and contribute to an inclusive, diverse and respectful workplace.
  • Strong communications skills and the ability to coordinate a work program.
  • Strong problem solving and resolution skills.
  • Experience in protected area management and fire management.
  • Resilience in managing changing priorities, responding to emergencies and living in a remote location.
