Carpentaria Land Council Aboriginal Corporation is proud to launch a newly funded Junior Ranger Program, and we're seeking a passionate Junior Ranger Project Coordinator to bring this initiative to life.
As the key driver of this pilot program, you'll work with schools, communities, families, Registered Training Organisations (RTO), and the Department of Education to create pathways for students returning to Country. Your role will bridge traditional learning with modern education, developing partnerships and delivering a culturally relevant, school-based program that fosters the next generation of rangers.

What's needed for your success
To succeed in this role, you'll need a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and ideally, a Certificate IV in Project Management. Your background should reflect strong engagement and collaboration skills, with experience partnering with schools, VET providers and the like.
Your understanding of environmental conservation and Indigenous cultural heritage would be highly valuable and if you identify as a First Nations person, we definitely want to hear from you. This is a fixed-term role until 19 December 2025 with the possibility of extension dependant on funding.
