Take a leading role for our organisation and community by coordinating a suite of strategies and policies that bring to life Council's objective of protecting and enhancing the natural environment. You'll work with internal and external stakeholders, including a diverse and active community; to ensure that Council's environmental policies and strategies remain coherent, comprehensive, and continue to push the envelope of what it means for communities to thrive in partnership with nature.
About You:
To thrive in this role, a tertiary qualification in environmental science or similar with significant relevant experience is required. You will have extensive experience developing and delivering strategies and policy in relevant service areas such as biodiversity, climate change and natural environment.
As a natural communicator, you will bring your conflict resolution skills and a demonstrated ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
