Termico Pest Management is part of the Termico Group, an independent, Western Australian owned company carrying out a wide variety of specialised home and building services such as Pest Management & Insulation in building and domestic industries, Solar Electricity, Bushfire Assessment and Private Certification of Design Compliance . Our Traineeship

Termico provides traineeships, widely recognized as the best in the industry, that combine practical on the job training with in-house classroom tuition.

The Course works to obtain a Cert III in Pest Management and is delivered in our own dedicated training room at Malaga by our own dedicated training manager who will guide you every step of the way. The traineeship is accredited by TAFE & over seen by Apprenti Centre to ensure a nationally recognised qualification.

Fully supervised training is provided initially, while learners progress to a Provisional license and eventually to a full license issued by the Pesticide Safety Division of the Heath Dept.

Ongoing training duration of about 10-12 months is expected to be qualified for a full Cert III - Pest Management Technicians License.

The Position

All our technicians are trained to the highest level and provided with:

• Permanent full-time position (40hrs/week).
• You don't have to go to TAFE.
• A fully maintained vehicle and fuel card.
• Uniform, PPEs, ipad, work mobile.
• Advanced reporting system and equipment.
• Daily work scheduled by the Office.
• Optional Saturday roster to earn additional income.
• Starting at $26.40/hour if no experience.
• Support from our schedulers and supervisors.

Note: We are inviting applicants from all suburbs in Perth. Although you would be closely interacting with our Office in Malaga, coming to the office is not a daily requirement. .

Responsibilities & Requirements:

You will be responsible for conducting pest inspections and treatments to residential and commercial properties, in accordance with Regulatory Standards and company policy & procedures. May have to access roof space for treatments.

The following are essential for all applicants:

• Current manual driver's license is a must.
• Excellent interpersonal &communication skills.
• Punctual & Reliable.
• Able to work efficiently unsupervised.
• Health and Safety Conscious.
• Have a can do attitude showing flexibility and adaptability.
• Basic IT skills.
• Labour background preferred.
• Consent to go through Pre-Employment Medical, Police Clearance & Work References if shortlisted.
• Ability to commit to completing the Cert III.
