Naturelinks is seeking a part time assistant to help with looking after our diverse range of equipment, which we use to carry out bushland management works in the greater Melbourne area. This is an opportunity for a person who has good mechanical aptitude, and wants to work in a friendly enviroment, with flexible hours.

Tasks and Responibilities

Ensure assets are delivered for servicing and repairs to our suppliers Making minor repairs such as fixing leaks, changing machinery blades, servicing spray equipment Errands and deliveries to Naturelinks depots. Tidying of workshop and yard areas, assist with depot maintenance tasks, moving of vehicles and equipment as needed between depots.

Qualifications & experience:

• Manual drivers' license - Medium Rigid Truck preferred.
• Fork Truck License (Preferred).
• Experience in equipment maintenance and practical mechanical experience.
• Trade qualification in mechanical or otther trade would be desirable, but not necessary.

We are looking for a person who can work safely under the direction of our Asset Manager, who ensures that plant, vehicles and other equpment is serviced to high standards.

Hours

The hours are flexible, we anticipate a commitment of three days per week is necessary. This may suit a person who needs some flexibilty around family commitments, but occasional early starts may be required.
