About you

You're a digitally focused Communications and Marketing Specialist with exceptional experience writing and delivering effective messaging via multiple communication platforms. You organise, produce and maintain print and digital content in accordance with operational and strategic objectives.

Demonstrating initiative and drive, you're able to work collaboratively with a small, motivated team, committed to supporting members and the interests of the broader Victorian Horticulture sector

About the role

The successful applicant will:

• Be proactive, self-motivated, and accountable; .
• Have proven experience in developing content for a range of publications, communication channels and audiences, enabling consistent and professional messaging, with a major focus on digital mediums.
• Prioritise tasks given the multifaceted demands of the role;.
• Possess an engaging style, allowing you to work collaboratively with our team to develop and deliver our strategic objectives; and .
• Be willing to undertake other tasks, as required, to enable collective team success.

Ideally, you'll have:

• A strong interest in horticulture.
• An ability to establish professional and collaborative relationships (internal and external).
• Some flexibility to work outside normal hours.
• Proven attention to detail; and
• Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, journalism or a related discipline.
