The role

We are seeking a Foreshore Ranger professional to join the Foreshore team. Reporting to the Foreshore Crew Leader, your role is to:

  • Undertake a broad range of 'Natural Resource Area' maintenance and development tasks at site specific locations, in accordance with agreed standards, practices and procedures.
  • Support your Foreshore Crew Leader to ensure programmed works and reactive customer requests are completed and reported on promptly.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring Council's foreshore areas are clean, safe and welcoming.

This is an exciting dynamic role where no two days are the same, working on some of Melbourne's finest beaches.

About you

We are looking for someone with:

  • Expertise and demonstrated experience in conservation and land management techniques, with a focus on foreshore management.
  • Ability to demonstrate the City of Kingston's values of Future Orientated, Accountable, Dynamic, Expert, Community and Celebration.
  • Ability and desire to work with volunteers and community groups with a customer centric approach.

The salary for this position starts at $62,941.55 (Band 3) per annum plus superannuation.
