The Project

Campbell Page EcoCrews projects provide hands-on experience of a range of land-based activities, integrated accredited training and assists with transitions from the program into the workforce.

We're looking for an EcoCrews Team Leader who will be responsible for making sure that projects run smoothly on the ground level. You will report to the EcoCrews Regional Manager making sure that objectives are achieved on time and within budget.

So that you can flourish in our new role, we would provide full uniform, boots, pants, jacket, gloves etc and as a tool of trade, you would be allocated a work vehicle, laptop, phone etc.

The Role

You will be responsible for support and supervision of daily activities of our EcoCrews Members. This will include daily and weekly planning, on the job training, day to day mentoring, coaching of performance, safe transport to and from work projects, ensuring workplace health & safety with reference to our WHS system, reporting attendance and ensuring engagement.

To Be Awesome At This Role, You'll Need:

• Tertiary qualification and/or experience in Natural Resource Management (NRM) & sound understanding of NRM issues.
• To have a genuine care for people - regardless of their circumstances, background, or mindset.
• Knowledge of key environmental issues, flora, and fauna.
• To be results driven - deliver on your targets and drive and inspire your team to deliver on their targets too.
• Demonstrated ability to work with small groups of young people and community, including group facilitation, action planning, mediation skills and delivery of educational activities.
• Knowledge and commitment of Work Health Safety policy and practices in the context of context of NRM.
• Lead a team to deliver environmental projects while coaching, supporting, and motivating young people to achieve results and stay employed.
• Well-developed written and oral communication skills, including competence in the use of Word, Excel, email, and the Internet.
• Experience in problem solving and negotiation.
• Demonstrable experience in commercial market gardening in an organic setting of at least 1 year would be highly regarded.
• Full current driving licence.
