People For Wildlife is a new Australian-based charity focused on the preservation of our natural world. We are looking for an experienced Administration professional to manage an office in a part-time role.

This new role is suited to someone based in Cairns with strong office management skills and systems, a can-do attitude and who will be comfortable working alongside a small but dedicated team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

You will be reporting to the People for Wildlife Director

Responsibilities - Office Management:

  • Strong systems approach to set up efficient processes to assist the Team's efforts.
  • Management of diaries, setting up appointments and Zoom calls, travel and conference bookings.
  • Assisting with reporting and lodging to international corporates, governments, and other contracts. Reporting on fundraising campaigns.
  • Accounting, book keeping knowledge, invoicing, etc.
  • Client management, monitoring and answering emails, etc.
  • Liaison with international Team members and Communications expert.

Your Skills & Attributes

  • Years of experience in office management/administration and systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to use a wide range of Microsoft Office tools for presentation.
  • Clear and confident communication skills.
  • Familiarity with accounting software, including Xero.
  • Experience in/or interest in environmental issues.
  • An eye for detail.
  • Also desirable are skills in graphic design.

  • Part-time role with work days negotiable (expect around 24 hours per week).
  • Remuneration from $37,570 to $44,200. Superannuation and 4 weeks holiday pay inclusive.
  • Opportunity for salary growth for the right individual.
