This position is based at Denham in the Shark Bay World Heritage Area which is home to world-class natural attractions including Francois Peron National Park, Dirk Hartog Island National Park, the Shark Bay Marine Park and the proposed Edel Land National Park.

Under the general direction of the District Coordinator Conservation, this position:

  • Organises and implements works programs, projects and day to day operations relating to conservation, conservation reserve management, and parks and visitor services in the Gascoyne district.
  • Monitors and reports on operations.
  • Liaises with community, key stakeholders and community groups in a positive and informed manner.
  • Undertakes an active role in prescribed burning and bushfire suppression operations.

The successful applicant will be required to possess or obtain a current Working With Children Check and a current and satisfactory National Police Check prior to commencement.
