Condobolin and District Landcare is currently recruiting for a part-time position located at Condobolin.

The successful applicant will work closely with Landcare, local landholders, environmental and peri-urban groups, to improve their capacity to support and increase community engagement and effectively participate in natural resource management activities that address critical agricultural and sustainability issues.

The role of the successful applicant is to:

• Stimulate local community engagement and participation in Landcare.
• Provide support to groups, networks, Landcarers and landholders to participate in natural resource management activities that address critical agricultural and sustainability issues.
• Undertake and support planning.
• Develop partnerships and work to secure resourcing through project grants and other sources.
• Monitor, evaluate and report on activities and outcomes as part of Program Reporting (including case studies).
• Facilitate linkages between Landcare activities/projects, Local Land Services and Landcare NSW.
• Participate in regional and state Community of Practice.
• Work with local groups to implement a Condobolin Local Priority Plan.
• Work with the Regional Coordinator to develop and support the implementation of Regional Priority Plan.

The successful applicant must have a Class C Licence and will at times be required to be flexible in their working hours, which will involve some attendance at out-of-hours activities, some travel, and overnight stays.
