The Environment and Heritage Group are seeking an experienced Divisional (Administration) Coordinator to work effectively with Branch staff to coordinate high quality and timely input into various Branch/Division-wide initiatives and requests. Support the Branch Directors in the coordination of effort and delivery of projects across the Division/Branch.

About You

Our Divisional (Administration) Coordinator provides a diverse range of secretariat and administrative services including organising and scheduling meetings, agenda preparation, collating materials for presentation, minute taking, supporting fleet management, circulating documents for comment and documenting of decision-making processes and pending actions.

Working effectively with Branch Directors and staff, you will perform various financial support tasks including the collation of information for budgets; checking monthly expenditure; preparation of purchase orders; goods receipting of invoices in SAP; accounts payable and receivable activities; asset capture; report generation and journal preparation, to support compliance with relevant public sector accounting policies, practices and statutory requirements.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in providing, high level business and coordination services including demonstrated ability to draft correspondence such as reports, letters and briefing documents.
  • Ability to undertake research and to gather and analyse content to make recommendations that effectively support business goals and objectives.
