Hours per fortnight

73.50 hours (part time hours, by negotiation).

Duties

As a professional manager, manage the human, physical, financial and information resources of the Contaminated Land & Waste Systems Section of the Contaminated Land & Waste Regulation Branch to ensure that the activities that are regulated by the Section are assessed and managed in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Management and Pollution Control Act 1994 and Government policy.

Provide a significant contribution to the overall business planning, development of procedures, effective management and future directions of the Contaminated Land & Waste Regulation Branch.

Essential Requirements

  • As a result of a risk assessment process the Head of Agency gave consideration to where vaccination is a necessary control to protect the health and safety of workers and the community and therefore it has been determined that prior to appointment to these duties a person to is to provide evidence that they are vaccinated against the disease known as COVID-19.
  • A degree in Science or Engineering relevant to the professional duties to be undertaken, as provided by a university.

Desirable Requirements

  • A current motor vehicle driver's licence.
  • Several years relevant post qualification experience.
