Work with the Landscape Ecology team and others to develop and implement programs to improve the ecological health of landscapes within the region.

Landscape Ecology Project Officer is responsible for the initiation and development of programs and projects to improve the ecological health of landscapes within the Murraylands and Riverland region. The Project Officer undertakes community engagement, monitoring and management of ecological sites across the region.

Special Conditions

• Tertiary degree qualification (minimum) in Natural Resources Management, Environmental Science or Biological Sciences is essential.
• Current Class C driver's license and willingness and ability to safely operate a 4wd is essential.
• Will be required to undertake training to obtain a First Aid Certificate (HLTAID001; HLTAID002 and HLTAID003).
• Some out of hours work, inter and intrastate travel involving overnight absences, and attendance at public meetings out of normal office hour may be required.
