We provide practical and experienced delivery of trees in the ground, specialising in carbon projects.

Woodland Services is currently offering casual employment to fill several positions within our tree planting team.

  • Have good people skills and are easy to get along with (planting teams will be working closely in sometimes remote locations).
  • Enjoy working hard as part of a well-integrated team.
  • Have an interest in environmental conservation and restoring the ecological health of degraded farmland
  • Want solid field experience in the environmental and carbon industry.

About the role

  • Participate in direct seeding and native seedling planting.
  • Periphery planting support activities including seedling delivery to the planting team.
  • Become part of a fun, diverse and motivated team.
  • Live and work in some remote parts of the northern wheatbelt, get back to nature with beautiful sunsets and simple living.

What we offer

  • Competitive hourly rate which can transition to a higher piece rate for those that want to work harder.
  • A great and memorable experience living and working in some stunning parts of WA.
  • Approximately 6-8 weeks' work; start as soon as you'd like.
  • Accommodation and basic meals are provided; save more of the money you make.
  • Possibility to join the Woodland Services team beyond the planting season for the right person.

Plantings are part of projects absorbing carbon from the atmosphere and provide a unique opportunity to directly increase your action to mitigate climate change.

Our planting areas for this season are near Moora, 200km north of Perth, and around Tenindewa, 400km north of Perth. We are experienced and professional, and have a great team again this year, many from last year, and we still have room for some more.
