Wild Rivers is seeking a skilled and experienced person to lead a team of people implementing a variety of weed management techniques in remote locations around the ACT and eastern Victoria.
The position is 38 hours per week averaged out over the month to work around weather conditions. It is a requirement of the successful applicant to make themselves available to work away from home for up to 10 days at a time, accommodation varies from lightweight remote camping to vehicle based camping and occasionally caravan parks/cabins. These trips vary in frequency and length with a majority of the work based around Canberra returning home each night.
The successful applicant will be expected to represent Wild Rivers, delivering on site works of a high standard, whilst adhering to company policies and values.
The successful applicant will have a highly organised approach with a strong ability to multitask a range of on ground works, including personnel management skills. The position reports directly to the company Directors.
Direct experience in weed management is not essential. The successful applicant will be a well rounded person with a passion for the outdoors, they will take pride in their work and demonstrate a high attention to detail.
