The Company

My client is a planning and environment consulting business based in Sydney and Newcastle. Its principal consultants are well respected names in the industry and have extensive planning and environmental knowledge developed over 20-year careers.

The success of the business is built through its strong client relationships with most of the work coming through repeat engagement or personal referrals. Clients value the company's technical expertise, our responsiveness, and our willingness to challenge existing practices.

The business works with government and private sector clients, delivering complex projects across a range of markets including agribusiness, waste and resource management, energy, and transport.

The Benefits

  • Strong pipeline of interesting projects across planning policy, project development and approvals.
  • Small professional team focused on exceptional technical delivery and strong client relationships.
  • Flexibility to balance work commitments with personal life. Options include WFH and Hybrid working arrangements.

The Opportunity

My client works with organisations who invest in projects and initiatives that address many of the important challenges currently being faced by communities, businesses, and government:

  • Finding better ways to manage waste, extract valuable resources and minimise impacts on communities and the environment.
  • Securing food production to meet the needs of a growing population.
  • Better integrating renewable energy with transmission to promote energy security and reduce emissions.
  • Maximising the value of investment in transport infrastructure by integrating opportunities for regional and urban development.
  • Encouraging private sector investment by simplifying the planning system.

The Team

The team spends most of its time working directly with its clients either based in project offices, working from home or a combination of both with a focus on delivering quality work that addresses the needs of our clients and their projects. This gives the flexibility to balance work commitments with personal lives.

The business can tap into a wide network of like-minded companies if needed to bring additional expertise or resources to projects including specialist consultants to address matters like air quality, traffic, noise, and groundwater, among others. The principals have fostered strong relationships with clients and have developed relationships with key decision-makers and regulators across Government.
