Kleinfelder Australia is an environmental consulting firm providing professional and technical services for land contamination and remediation, environmental planning and approvals, ecology, flora and fauna, spotter catcher services, ecological restoration and rehabilitation, heritage, bushfire, and geotechnical engineering.
As our success and growth continues across NSW, an opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to lead our Land Management team, based in Newcastle.
The Role
Working closely with the Client Account Manager, you will assume a senior position in contributing to the technical and safety leadership, and growth, of our land management service line. You will take the lead in managing a diverse team of supervisors and field technicians that provide bush regeneration and weed management services to private industry and government authorities across Newcastle, the Hunter Valley, and surrounding regions. Overseeing the day-to-day delivery of the service line, including managing rostering and resourcing, equipment maintenance. Following appropriate WHS procedures is also an important aspect of the role. This role provides a varied and challenging experience across a range of bushland settings and landscapes.
About you
You will have demonstrated experience in the delivery of bush regeneration and weed management projects to client specifications, together with substantial practical experience in the field. We are seeking an experienced, hard-working and hands-on manager who is keen to coach and develop their team, whilst maintaining high standards of health and safety.
