About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Harvesting and Roading team and supervise the harvesting operations they plan, in the Bombala Management Area.

This role would suit a person with experience organising and or supervising operations on the ground or a graduate looking to develop skills in this area. Having been exposed to in Forestry or Natural Resource Management would be an advantage.

The Harvesting Supervisor engages with both internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, to ensure that operations are completed to the required safety, environmental and quality standards. Our team strives to be innovative, and we pride ourselves on safety leadership and achieving operational excellence.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake active frontline firefighting duties and be available for afterhours fire standby on a rostered basis. Full firefighting training and subsequent qualifications will be provided as part of the role.

  • You have a current driver’s licence

Note: The successful applicant will be required to undergo a medical assessment and drug and alcohol screening as part of the recruitment process. As this role has frontline fire-fighting responsibilities a Task Based Assessment (TBA) at a standard of at least the Moderate Field Test is required.
