The City of Stonnington possesses a diverse range of high quality and well-maintained open space. Drawing on your passion for horticulture, you will pride yourself working in high quality parks and gardens within a positive and supportive team environment. You will be required to apply your comprehensive knowledge of the requirements of the various plants within in our City’s parks, reserves and streetscapes by identifying and undertaking the weed control, pruning, feeding, mulching and water requirements.
You will also carry out planting in Council owned parks, gardens and buildings – selecting plants based on horticultural knowledge.
This is a permanent part time position of 16 hours per week with a flexible work pattern. Based on those part time hours, the annual salary is $25,918 - $27,911 per annum + 10% superannuation.

COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement
In line with the Chief Health Officers COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination Direction, all persons engaged at City of Stonnington, regardless of their role, will be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Successfull candidates will be required to provide acceptable evidence of their vaccination status.
