About NCSSA

The Nature Conservation Society of South Australia (NCSSA) is a not-for-profit organisation and South Australia’s leading advocate for the conservation of wildlife and natural habitats.

As the peak body for biodiversity conservation in South Australia, NCSSA works to protect and manage habitats, particularly native vegetation; research threatened species and habitats to improve effectiveness of conservation actions; advocate for dedication of land for conservation, and; educate and engage the community in the value of nature.

NCSSA works with Government, statutory authorities and other not-for-profit organisations on collaborative programmes and research, funding partnerships and advocacy. Everyone at NCSSA is committed to the conservation of nature and action to ensure resilient future landscapes and people.

About the role

The Nature Conservation Society of SA (NCSSA) has developed a new strategic plan and is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, experienced and influential person to lead implementation and growth. This will be a hands-on role within a small team.
