 Manager, Environmental Programs – Otways, Surf Coast and Bellarine

  • Fixed term, full time position until 30 June 2023
  • Based at Geelong and Colac with flexible working options
  • Salary range: Band 9 $105,633 - $119,817p.a. (depending on qualifications and experience) plus superannuation 

About the role 

This rewarding role will manage our Wild Otways Initiative and Bellarine and Great Ocean Road Dunecare Program and contribute to future development of environmental programs across this region. The role will drive positive outcomes for threatened species and our coastal and Otways environments in partnership with federal and state government, universities, coastal public land managers, local service providers and the community.


About you   

  • Passionate about the environment, with skills and experience in working with communities in natural resource management, environmental management or community development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to positively engage and foster strong professional relationships with key stakeholders, members of the public and employees.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and achieving positive environmental outcomes.
  • Drives positive organisational culture and models the values of the Corangamite CMA and the Victorian Public Service.

Corangamite Catchment Management Authority (CMA) is a Victorian Government statutory authority whose role is to work with and support local communities to improve sustainable land, biodiversity and water resources management, in an area stretching from Geelong to Ballarat to Peterborough.
