About the Role

Due to recent growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic Senior to join our Wildlife Services team. Ideally, we are seeking someone with in-depth knowledge and experience in biology, project management, proposal and report writing and have strongly grounded business development skills.

You will manage multiple and multi-faceted projects from inception to completion, undertaking work throughout Queensland. The aim of Wildlife Services is to achieve best practice wildlife management outcomes.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Qualifications in wildlife biology, ecology, environmental science, or related disciplines
  • Strong consulting and project management experience
  • Excellent fauna and flora identification skills, including their management principles
  • Knowledge of Commonwealth, Queensland and interstate environmental legislation
  • Demonstrated business development and client liaison skills
  • Fluent proposal, report writing ability and technical writing skills.
  • Strong project management to deliver within scope, budget, and timeframes.
  • High level interpersonal and client relationship management skills including aptitude for developing customer relationships.
  • Ability to create a pipeline of forward work through strong client liaison skills and business development.
  • Passionate about wildlife and achieving positive environmental outcomes.

  • The ability to build successful team dynamics

The following skills and attributes would be highly regarded:

  • Manual Drivers Licence
  • First Aid/CPR
  • Prior consulting experience (QLD or NSW)
  • Mapping abilities using QGIS and / or ArcGIS
  • Major project safety inductions and training, including construction white card
