SEEDS Bushland Restoration


Mornington Peninsula, Victoria

SEEDs conducts quality bushland restoration services for a range of public sector clients across a number of sites on the Mornington Peninsula and south east region and is looking for passionate crew to join our team for the next few months, with potential for ongoing.

It is essential that applicants have at least 12 months industry experience in bushland restoration works along with the following skills and knowledge (briefly address each in your letter of application):

  • Good understanding of bushland restoration techniques and principles
  • Well-developed understanding of OHS principals and practice.
  • Excellent knowledge of weed control techniques and experience in their application
  • Good working knowledge of herbicides and their use
  • Medium to high level of weed and indigenous plant identification skills
  • Competent, safe use and maintenance of vehicles, small plant, and hand tools.
  • Basic understanding of quality principals and their application
  • Indigenous plant propagation skills (desirable)

People that join our team will have a demonstrated work ethic, be fit and punctual, display excellent communication skills, the ability to work affectively as part of a team and show initiative where required along with a willingness and desire to continually improve their skills and knowledge in bushland restoration practices and plant identification.

Qualifications Required

  • Conservation & Land Mgt Certificate or equivalent
  • ChemCert
  • First Aid Level 2
  • Chainsaw Operation (desirable)

Our work is classed as authorised work and as such you will require 1st Covid vaccine by the 15th October.
