Australian Ecosystems are a market-leading specialist who creates award winning public spaces, sustainable communities, and diverse natural resource projects for our greater community. 

Due to our growing portfolio of commercial, residential landscape and natural resource projects, we have exciting opportunities for Landscape Maintenance personnel who will help maintain the natural spaces we create.

Your role will be to maintain a wide variety of natural elements within our projects located within growth corridors across Metropolitan Melbourne, reporting to our Supervisor.

The roles

  • General maintenance of turf, lawn, native vegetation, advanced trees, garden beds, playgrounds, rooftop gardens, community food gardens, and high-end landscapes
  • Specialist maintenance of native vegetation including remnant vegetation and restored landscapes, wetlands and creek corridors
  • Advanced tree and landscape watering – HR licence required

About you

  • Qualifications in Landscape and Horticulture related industries is essential 
  • Enthusiasm about sustainable design and ecological restoration 
  • Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and plant/weed knowledge
  • Demonstrable experience with equipment such as ‘brush cutters', mowers and other general horticultural equipment will be looked upon favourably
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work either in a team or autonomously
  • Well-developed time management and organisational skills
  • Current Drivers License
  • Construction Induction Card
  • Chemical User Certificate, ACUP or relevant training
