The Regional Water Strategies division within the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment (DPIE) is currently seeking to appoint a Groundwater Strategist to undertake research and gather data on sustainable groundwater management to ensure the delivery of the NSW Government’s regional water strategies. You will also liaise with key internal and external stakeholders, working collaboratively across the DPIE cluster.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in water related areas such as water planning, natural resource management, environmental science, civil/environmental engineering and hydrogeology.
  • Familiarity with the State and Commonwealth Government’s water reform agendas.
