Terra Australis Regeneration is a boutique bush regeneration company which has been undertaking contract work for Northern Beaches Council, City of Ryde, Willoughby and Ku-ring-gai Councils over the past 22 years, as well as carrying out projects for private companies, trusts and individuals. During this time our teams have been exposed to a wide variety of vegetation communities in the Sydney area, which include endangered ecological communities.

​We are seeking an experienced bush regeneration supervisor for 28 hrs to 35 hrs per week, to lead a small team on Northern Beaches sites.

To be considered for this position you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in bushland regeneration, natural area management, ecology or equivalent such as a TAFE Certificate or Diploma in Conservation and Land Management.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing bush regeneration contracts and team leadership.
  • Relevant administration and photography skills for producing monthly and annual reports, as well as ad hoc quotes.
  • Awareness and experience of WHS procedures and environmental legislation.
  • Ability and willingness to perform and supervise fine hand weeding and revegetation, as well as primary and secondary work on a variety of sites.
  • Current Senior First Aid, chainsaw operations and chemical handling qualifications.
  • Current driver’s license and suitable vehicle to carry a small number of tool kits and weed bins etc.
  • Demonstrated reliability which will be checked through references.
  • Possess the ability to mentor and work well with other team members.

Since Terra Australis Regeneration and the sites for which we are seeking a supervisor are based on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, you will need to consider this if applying from outside of the area.
