Native Habitat provides sensitive weed control and revegetation services utilising best practices within environmental management, restoration, and consultancy throughout the central Gippsland region.

Our clients:  DELWP, Parks Victoria, LaTrobe city council, Baw Baw shire council, Cardinia shire council, Landcare Australia & local businesses HVP plantations & Millar | Merrigan.

Employment Opportunity:

Native Habitat is seeking to employ two team members with a strong passion for the natural environment and its conservation.  

Renumeration offered is above award based on experience.


  • Tertiary TAFE / University with a minimum of Certificate 3 in Conservation and Land Management or relevant field experience within the industry
  • Current driver’s license & own vehicle
  • Agricultural chemical uses permit (ACUP)
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • First Aid (Level 2)

Desirable Experience:

  • Sound identification of indigenous plant and introduced weed species.
  • Experience in various mechanical weed control methods
  • Experience in aerial weed control methods
  • Experience with revegetation.
  • Experience using plant such as Brush cutters, Chainsaws and Chippers.
