We are seeking both Bush Regeneration Supervisors and Bush Regenerators primarily for the Brisbane area but are open to applications from the Sunshine Coast, Lockyer Valley, Ipswich, & Gold Coast!

You will contribute to the recovery of a range of sites containing a diversity of ecosystem types. You will have the opportunity to apply a range of restoration approaches including assisted regeneration and revegetation including carrying out weed control within old growth ecosystems. The aim of ecological restoration projects is to restore the health, integrity, diversity and resilience of vegetation and habitat. You will be directly linked with this process by applying regular weed control while also carrying out other tasks such as planting.

Essential Success factors

  • Passionate about ecological restoration and the environment
  • A high level of physical fitness
  • A commitment to safe work practices and a willingness to promote Ecosure’s safety culture.
  • Strong SEQ plant identification skills – native and exotic across a range of ecosystem types.

Desirable Factors

  • Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management (Natural Area Restoration) or equivalent level of experience
  • Chemcert or ACDC certification
  • Experience applying a range of different ecological restoration approaches.
  • Experience in revegetation practices.
