Permanent, Full-time, Grade 1 or 2, $55,545 - $61,091 or $62,989 - $69,280 p.a. + 10% super + 25% No Fixed Hrs Allowance

Stirling Range National Park is a biodiversity hotspot that's home to more plant species than you'll find in the entire British Isles. The national park features 123 varieties of Western Australian orchids, over 100 species of birds and gives visitors the opportunity to take in sweeping vistas from Western Australia's only mountain range.

Under the immediate direction of the Senior Ranger, this position:

  • Carries out programmed operational activities and field logistical support in the Stirling Range National Park and other reserves in the Albany District, including maintenance and servicing of facilities, visitor management, and the delivery of conservation programs and parks and visitor services projects as directed.
  • Assists with fire, feral animal, weed and interpretative programs.
  • Implements works programs consistent with departmental guidelines, policies and management plans.

The successful applicant will be required to possess or obtain a current Working With Children Check and a current and satisfactory National Police Check prior to commencement.
