Part-time (0.4 EFT - 30.4 hours/fortnight). $105,633 - 119,817 p.a. pro-rata (depending on qualifications & experience) + super. 12 months Fixed Term.

The Corangamite Catchment Management Authority (CMA) is a Victorian Government statutory authority whose role it is to work with and support local communities to improve sustainable land, biodiversity and water resources management, in an area stretching from its head office in Colac to Geelong, Ballarat and Peterborough.

About the role

This role will focus on ensuring integration and coordination of Landcare and other community groups and citizen science programs with other Corangamite CMA and regional projects, programs and strategies. It also coordinates the delivery of:
• State-wide Waterwatch and Estuarywatch Programs;
• Sustainable Agriculture Programs.

This senior level position reports to the General Manager Community & Catchment Services and leads the development and implementation of strategies, policies, projects and programs within the Regional Landcare & Volunteer Team.

What you'll need to succeed

This role requires significant experience in working with communities in community development, community engagement, management of volunteers, natural resource management, environmental management and agriculture, as well as a relevant qualification, or extensive experience.

You will possess excellent interpersonal and engagement capabilities, with the ability to contribute to building a positive, high performing organisation. You will have a flexible and adaptable approach, possess the ability to build strong professional relationships and partnerships, and to work as part of a team. You will help to lead a high quality organisational culture and model the values of the Corangamite CMA and the Victorian Public Service.
