Dragonfly Environmental is looking for a dedicated and passionate full-time Site Supervisor to join our team and make a difference. The position includes competitive salary, company vehicle, phone and iPad. Applicant must have:

  • A passion for the environment
  • Ability to bring the best out in every team member
  • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in Bush Regeneration
  • Excellent bush regeneration skills
  • Attention to detail and proven ability to deliver agreed outcomes
  • WHS&E experience and knowledge
  • Have the Ability to Respond (Responsibility) to many areas (place, people, policies etc)

Essential criteria:

  • White card
  • Cert III in Conservation and Land Management
  • Current First Aid
  • Chem Cert (AQF3)
  • Chainsaw ticket
  • Driver’s License (and ability to drive manual)

As Site Supervisor, you are responsible for on-ground care and management of a variety of sites, the team of people you work with and company assets. You will apply best practice bush regeneration techniques and deliver the agreed contract outcomes. All works will be conducted safely and in accordance with legislation particularly WHS&E. You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal as you will be required to communicate with clients, bush regen team and give input to methods for quotations and write reports about your sites.

Bush regeneration requires good physical fitness, health and a can-do attitude as a Supervisor you will be Working with the Team in any weather that is safe to work.  You will do extensive walking, carrying, kneeling, machine use (Brush-cutter, chainsaw etc). You must be able to handle the physical requirements of the position.

Locations cared for include over eight First Peoples homelands encompassing all of the Sydney area, parts of the Central Coast, Blue Mountains and Wollongong. This position requires travel to the different sites possibly up to 1.5 hrs each way.
