Apply now to join the Mallee Catchment Management Authority (CMA) as Project Officer Operations to support the VMFRP General Manager Operations Planning and VMFRP Operations and Relationships Coordinator to deliver operational and environmental planning deliverables for the West and Central sites within the Victorian Murray Floodplain Restoration Project (VMFRP).
The VMFRP is a planned program of infrastructure works and important environmental outcomes to enhance the watering of high valued floodplains on the River Murray in Victoria through the delivery of environmental water.
This successful candidate will be a collaborator who has excellent writing skills, a solid understanding of the planning and delivery of environmental or ecological restoration and monitoring projects, and will have the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders and internal teams to achieve required outcomes. The role requires demonstrated written, administrative, procurement, reporting and organisational skills.
Tertiary qualifications in Natural Resource Management (or a related discipline) and experience in a similar role is an advantage. Experience in the Environmental Water industry is desirable.

The position is available on a full-time basis until September 2022 (with extension subject to funding). This role is classified as a Band 8 Position in accordance with the Mallee CMA Enterprise Agreement with a remuneration range of $79,127.69-$87,383.21 per annum plus superannuation, dependant on skills and experience.
